Founder and CEO
Prior to starting Arena, Mike Rosenbaum received an Irving R. Kaufman Fellowship to support his work building what is now the analytics engine for talent selection. Previously, Rosenbaum was a John M. Olin Fellow in Law and Economics at Harvard and served at the White House as an economist, at the U.S. Department of State on trade issues and issues related to the former Soviet Union, and at Coopers & Lybrand in the Russian Federation on privatization and commercialization in the early 1990’s. In addition to his academic work around what became Arena, Rosenbaum’s publications and work focused on the application of data to the most subjective areas of human endeavor.
His work was featured in the Stanford Law and Policy Review and the Harvard John M. Olin Fellow Center for Law, Economics and Business Series. Rosenbaum has a JD from Harvard Law School, an MS in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science, and a BA from Harvard College.
President and COO
Myra Norton joined Arena in November of 2012 after a rich career in data and analytics. Norton has extensive academic experience as an administrator and professor in mathematics and statistics at Temple University, Towson University and the United States Naval Academy. She has been featured as a speaker and facilitator at several industry events and she has collaborated with researchers from Harvard University, Babson College, University of Virginia, the National Institutes of Health, University of Maryland, and the University of Chicago.
In the community she leads the National Girls Collaborative Project as part of her work with the Center for Women in Technology, she serves as member and past chair of the Industrial Advisory Board for the College of Engineering and Information Technology at UMBC, she mentors college students and young professionals in the Baltimore area, and she works with high school students through the National Foundation for Teaching Entrepreneurship (NFTE).
Norton graduated from the University of Alabama with a BS in Math Education and received an MA in Mathematics and an MS in Statistics at Temple University.
Chief Financial Officer
David is responsible for the entire finance function of Arena and oversees accounting, reporting, strategic planning as well as the company’s auditor, banking and investor relationships. A member of the executive team, David works on a wide range of financial, operational and strategic initiatives that help to scale and run the business.
Prior to joining Arena, David was the Senior Vice President, CFO and Corporate Secretary for Tessco Technologies Inc. (NASDAQ: TESS), a $700 million public technology company. At Tessco, David executed many organic revenue growth initiatives, managed profitability optimization programs and led significant corporate acquisitions. David is a financial strategist with a strong track record of successfully driving revenue growth and profitability.
David holds a bachelor of business administration degree in accounting from Loyola University in Maryland and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program.
Chief People Officer
David joined Arena in February of 2017 and is responsible for delivering and developing the people on whom we rely to deliver on our mission.
A graduate of The State University of New York at Buffalo, Dave has spent more than two decades building, scaling, and optimizing many of the most innovative and successful firms in the worlds of tech startups, banking, securities trading, management consulting, enterprise software, and infrastructure technology.
He lives at the beach with his wife and two daughters.
Vice President of Engineering
Trevor Smith is responsible for creating and executing on Arena’s technology vision. He is a driven technologist and leader who prizes teamwork, ownership, accountability, transparency and humility, with a proven track record of delivering complex solutions. Before Arena, Trevor managed Knewton’s Adaptive Education Platform, serving recommendations to millions of students across multiple enterprise partners. Prior to that, Trevor worked on animal tracking collars, and Vonage’s core audio and call quality servers -- providing voice calls to millions of users.
Kristen McFadden Gandhi
Vice President of Customer Success
Kristen joined Arena as our Vice President of Client Success in March 2017 and is responsible for ensuring our partners get the most out of their investment in Arena's technology. She brings over 15 years of expertise in IT delivery to our executive team.
Most recently, Kristen served as Vice President of Implementations at Knewton (an adaptive education company). Prior to that, she spent ten years with IPsoft serving as their Global Head of Service Transition, leading a worldwide team responsible for implementation and client success for dozens of Fortune 500 clients. Kristen began her career as an analyst with UBS and spent over five years designing compute systems for bioinformatics research at Columbia University Medical Center. She received both her masters and bachelors degrees from Columbia University.
Jordanna recently joined Arena after seven years in health care consulting. As a Principal at the Sachs Policy Group, Jordanna worked with health systems, hospitals, long-term care facilities, human services agencies, unions, health plans, and technology companies, helping them adapt to the rapidly changing regulatory and market dynamics in the health care system. Before her consulting work, Jordanna was the senior health care staffer to U.S. Senator Sheldon Whitehouse (D-RI), working on the drafting and passage of the Affordable Care Act. She has also held positions in the Office of U.S. Senator Russ Feingold (D-WI), the Georgetown Health Policy Institute, and the Greater New York Hospital Association.
Gerry is responsible for helping the company fulfill its mission by building relationships with potential clients. Gerry joined us from his leadership position in Intelsat’s media organization, a team of senior professionals establishing multi-year managed product solutions with the largest media entertainment companies in the world.
Previously, Gerry held progressively senior roles with Sonic Telecom, Linguateq, NOS, and Perot Systems. He received a double major in Marketing and Finance from Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA and a Masters of Business Administration degree at Georgetown University in Washington, DC where he was honored as class Salutatorian.
Vice President of Marketing
Michael leads thought leadership, demand generation, awareness, and brand activities at Arena. He brings more than fifteen years of marketing, product, business development, and strategy experience in the data analytics, software and telecommunications industries from MicroStrategy, Neustar, Microsoft, and Sonus Networks. Michael has offered marketing guidance to several technology startups and works in the community with Habitat for Humanity and DC SCORES. He holds an M.B.A. with high distinction from the McCombs School of Business at The University of Texas at Austin and a B.A. from Virginia Tech.
